From Bracebridge, travel north along Highway 11 to Highway 117. Turn east onto Highway 117 towards Baysville. Follow the highway past Baysville to Browns Brea. Turn south onto Browns Brae Road and then east onto Paint Lake Road. The cemetery should be about 2.5 km along the road. Disclaimer! I have not visited this cemetery and cannot confirm its exact location. |
Disclaimer! The following internments was taken from the book, "These Our Ancestors Were" which was printed in 1974. There are several errors in the book and does not show any burials after 1974. The following listing is only as accurate as the printed book and has not been updated since 1974.
This is a very badly neglected cemetery and apparently
there was a burial as late as 1960. All the graves are in a bush area with
full-grown trees growing up through the earlier graves. We have been unable to
find any one who is responsible for the conditions here. We have received no
response from the Algoma Dioceses at Sault Ste. Marie.
